 Mechanical Vents (Ecofan)
Ecofans are installed to improve sub-floor air quality and reduce humidity levels beneath the floor. This 23cm diameter fan consists of five blades and an electronic brushless D.C motor. The fan is installed in an aluminium powdercoated frame.
The Ecofan extracts 3,600 litres per minute of damp sub-floor air. This air is then replaced at the same time with external fresh air. The air is sucked in through the wall grills place opposite the fan. The Ecofan is fully controlled by power . If the fan was to run continuously, it would cost less than an extra $6 (Aud) per year in energy. |
